Generative AI Workshop: Advanced Course for Teachers

This in-person, full-day advanced workshop is tailored for educators to master Generative AI (Gen AI) tools for teaching and professional tasks. Participants will explore advanced uses of apps such as ChatGPT Plus, Google Gemini, NotebookLM, ElevenLabs, and Suno to enhance lesson planning, student engagement, and classroom activities. The workshop covers advanced prompting techniques, creating customised lesson plans and rubrics, using AI for visual and audio content creation, and guiding students in responsible AI use. Participants will complete a group project to design a teaching module using Gen AI tools. Prerequisites include familiarity with Gen AI apps and a paid ChatGPT Plus subscription.

Forthcoming Workshops for March to May 2025 (updated)

From March to May 2025, ASCD Singapore will conduct a series of workshops designed to address key challenges in education and explore effective strategies for supporting diverse learners. These workshops will provide insights into how educators can navigate polarities in teaching and learning, and better support students with maths anxiety and ASD. Educators can also deepen their understanding of generative AI in an advanced course tailored for teachers. Each workshop is designed to be interactive and hands-on, with participation capped at 40 to ensure meaningful engagement.
